I am home sweet home! Thank you so much to the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and everyone involved with Toga Da Wohnagabi Indigenous Music Residency all the staff, faculty, artists whose hard work made for an incredible experience. I am 6 songs richer now and my heart is so full from all the kindness, encounters and of course inspiration from the beautiful mountains that called me back once more. Gratitude and love to everyone and gratitude for the journey!

Fantastic week wonderful time in studio recording demos of the songs I wrote here including a co-write with Logan Staats. Great performances wow an honour to be among them full production crew and lights, the videos I made to play behind the songs looked stunning on the big screen! A great turnout for the show and the last show is tonight! We had heavy snow yesterday so beautiful but very cold for me! I ventured down the mountain trail to town the artists and facilitators have been supportive and kind and shared themselves with great generosity so grateful for my time here.

It’s been a beautiful and productive week with 2 songs completed. I participated in a magical and spiritual performance art piece Friday night by Cheryl L’Hirondelle and fellow musicians called Light Tipi. Yesterday i took the day off writing and I hiked into town along the Bow River so very lovely and peaceful. Enjoyed a swim and a hot tub after ward. This morning had a little walk, did laundry and then wrote the music for a third song and lyrics for the first verse I feel very in the flow here
